Janice Longfield (Nee Higginbottom)

This fantastic lady was my auntie and she id missed by so many people.

She leaves behind a heartbroken husband my Uncle Roy, her 3 children, Daniel, ben and Jessica, her devastated parents john and marjory, her devoted sister pamela, her inlaws and may nieces, nephews, great neices and nephews who miss her so much.

On the morning of Janice's death her eldest son Daniel went into his parents bedroom to wake his mum to get them ready fo school, he found that he could not wake her, he was only 9 years old and showed bravery and intelligence beyond his years, He phoned his dad who was a long didtance wagon driver and explained that he couldnt wake his mummy up, My uncle Roy told him to ring 999 and to also ring his grandma and grandad who lived close by.

An ambulance arrived and my darling Auntie Janice was pronnounced dead.

At first we believed that she had died of sudden Adult Death Syndrome but after an autopsy was carried out we found that she had had a heart condition that had gone undetected but that could strike at any time, this condition is hereditory and if it had been discovered she could have had a pacemaker fitted and maybe she would still be here.

It has since been discovered that her sister pamela also suffers from the same condition and has had a pacemaker fitted and is doing well.

Her three children miss her so much and jessica who was only 18 months old at the time will never remember a devoted mum that adored her children.

Please look down on them Autie Janice for they all miss you so and have gone through hell since you died, please look up andy's mum christine tunnicliffe and auntie barbera and uncle albert and have a good gossip and a brew.
